Countryside Garden Club of Crystal Lake Illinois was established in 1949. Our garden club is a member of the Garden Clubs of Illinois. http://www.gardenclubsofillinois.org

Club members meet year round the 2nd Wednesday of each month at 11:30 am , during which time we have a brief social period with light refreshments . A program by various presenters on topics of interest will follow at noon. Following the program club business is reviewed. Some months there will be a field trip to local areas. June and December are our club’s picnic/ and holiday gathering.

Meetings are held at various locations. Please check calendar of events tab for location for that month. There are opportunities to be involved in civic beautification, field trips and more.

Club objectives:
* Promote horticulture
* Assist in promotion of civic beauty
* Stimulate an interest in cooperative gardening
* Aid in the protection of wildlife and endangered species
* Eradicate invasive species and protect natural resources
* Use environmentally safe gardening practices
